PhotoRobot Locator
Also known as Locator app, Locator. Category: Software
PhotoRobot Locator is an application that searches the local network for PhotoRobot control units, shows their IP and MAC addresses and opens the web interface of the selected unit. It saves looking up the address of a control unit manually when connecting to it or servicing it.
How PhotoRobot uses it
The Locator is integrated into PhotoRobot Controls and is also available for iOS through PhotoRobot Account downloads. It can make a unit's panel flash to identify it physically, and manuals use it to reach the service interface, for example when aligning lasers.
