Full-frame sensor
Also known as full frame, 35 mm sensor. Category: Lighting and optics
A full-frame sensor has the dimensions of a 35 mm film frame, 36 x 24 mm. Compared with smaller sensors it generally offers better low-light performance, lower noise and wider dynamic range at the same resolution.
How PhotoRobot uses it
PhotoRobot lists a full-frame sensor among the main camera requirements for its systems, together with high shooting speed and resolution. Its camera resolution guide explains why APS-C sensors are less suitable for product photography.
